These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Core Day Off (the "Service"), provided by CorePHP LLC ("CorePHP", "we", "us"). By creating an account or accepting an invitation to use Core Day Off, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Account registration
- You must be at least 16 years old to use Core Day Off
- You agree to provide accurate information and keep it current
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account
- One natural person per account; do not share login credentials
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
2. Plans, billing, and trials
- The Free plan supports up to 5 users at no cost. Paid plans are billed monthly per the pricing displayed at sign-up
- You authorize CorePHP and our payment processor to charge your payment method recurringly until you cancel
- Plan changes take effect immediately; downgrades pro-rate at the next billing cycle
- Fees are non-refundable except where required by law
- Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of access
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Core Day Off to violate any law or another person's rights
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code (except where allowed by applicable law)
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without prior written consent
- Send spam, malware, or other harmful content through the Service
- Interfere with the Service's normal operation or impose unreasonable load on our infrastructure
- Misrepresent your identity, your role, or your authority to act on a company's behalf
- Use the Service to manage data of individuals who have not been informed of and consented to that processing where the law requires consent
4. Your data and content
You retain ownership of all data you submit to Core Day Off (employee records, day-off requests, schedules, holiday customizations). You grant us a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display that data solely as needed to provide the Service to you and the other authorized users in your company. We do not use your data to train machine learning models or for advertising.
5. Compliance guidance is not legal advice
Core Day Off includes labor-law and holiday data for several jurisdictions and surfaces warnings when configurations may conflict with those rules. This is informational guidance, not legal advice. Labor laws change and vary by industry, contract type, and individual circumstance. CorePHP makes no warranty that the data is current, complete, or applicable to your specific situation. Always consult qualified legal counsel before making decisions that may affect employee rights or company obligations.
6. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance windows, third-party outages, and unforeseen issues may cause downtime. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, except where prohibited by law.
7. Third-party services
Core Day Off integrates with third-party providers (e.g., Nager.Date for public holidays, transactional email and push providers, payment processors). Their terms and privacy practices apply to your use of those services through us. We are not responsible for issues caused by their actions or outages.
8. Termination
- You may cancel your account at any time from your settings or by contacting support
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, threaten the Service's integrity, or fail to pay
- On termination, your data is retained per our Privacy Policy and then permanently deleted
- Sections that by their nature should survive termination (Sections 4, 5, 9, 10, 11) survive
9. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. CorePHP DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. CorePHP DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT COMPLIANCE GUIDANCE WILL BE ACCURATE FOR YOUR JURISDICTION OR CIRCUMSTANCE.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CorePHP'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE FEES YOU PAID TO CorePHP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD 100. IN NO EVENT WILL CorePHP BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify CorePHP from any third-party claim arising from your data, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where CorePHP is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country requires otherwise.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-product notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
